Product Listing Amazon India: Product listing on Amazon.in is very simple and easy. To help you understand this even more easily, in this article we’ll take you through each and every steps of methods to list your products on Amazon.in. If your product is not there on Amazon, all you need to do is create a new listing using Amazon Seller Central.

Prerequisite before Listing Product on Amazon

• EAN (international Article Number) Code

The International Article Number (also known as European Article Number or EAN) is a standard thirteen-digit (EAN-13) barcodeused in global trade to identify a specific retail product type. EAN codes used in Asia and European continent and same will be used in Amazon.in while listing the products.

EAN codes should be GS! Certified, authentic and unused. It is available online from various website and same can be bought HERE

• Photographs

The image must be an actual photo. Images should be at least 1000 pixels in either width or height. Amazon recommends 2560 pixels wide. The product should fill 85% of the frame. ALL product photos should have a pure white background. You can upload JPEG, PNG, GIF or TIFF files.

• Product Measurement

You’ll need to providedimensions and weight for physical product selling on Amazon. Length, Width and Height can be considered in centimeter (CM). Provide the weight in grams for the product.

• Title and Keywords

Amazon product titles should include: Brand name, Color and/or flavor and/or variant, Size and/or quantity

Example: Urban Gear SIGMA Stainless Steel Sports Sipper 750ml Black

Keywords are target words within your listing which a buyer will search for when looking to make a purchase.

Type a word relating to your product into the Amazon search bar – for example, Water bittle – and then use auto-suggest to quickly get a list of related words.  Use as many keywords in your listing as possible.

• Category

Search for the bestselling items in Amazon, which are similar to your product and then click on it to see which categories and sub-categories they are listed in and then follow suit.

In order to get your product listed on Amazon, follow the below steps:

• Go to the Dashboard of your Amazon Seller Central page.

• Click on Catalogue

• Click on Add Products

• Click on Create A New Product Listing

• Click on the appropriate category

• You will now be redirected to the setup page for the listing

• Toggle to ‘Advanced View’

• Find the Vital Info page and complete each of the fields as appropriate

• Find the Offer page and complete each of the fields as appropriate

• Find the Description page and complete each of the fields as appropriate

Once this is done, you’ll probably get a screen congratulating you for successfully listing your product on Amazon.
